N.C.A.B.L. CALENDAR OF IMPORTANT DATES: 2026

February 27Deadline for the provision of home dates and black out dates to the Official Scheduler.
March 14Distribution of the first draft of the 2026 regular season schedule to all clubs by the Official Scheduler.
March 21Deadline for receipt of club requests for final changes to the regular season schedule.
March 31Spring Bi-Annual Board of Governors Meeting. Scheduled for 19:00 – 22:00. Location: SAMBA Clubhouse on Sturgeon Road in St. Albert.
April 11NCABL Annual Umpire Meeting. Scheduled for 10:00 am – 1:00 pm Location: TD Branch Office located at 18817, Stony Plain Road in Edmonton, Alberta. Free parking. Take elevator to 3rd floor.
April 25Official Scoring Clinic: Morinville Community High School @ 9506, 100 ave., Morinville, Alberta. Time: 10:00 A.M. Mandatory attendance for certification. Session 1 focus on baseball fundamentals and terminology. 12:30 P.M. Lunch provided for all registrants. Session 2 begins at 1:00 p.m. with a focus on use of the “Game Changer App” and administrative obligations. The clinic ends at 3:30 P.M. Pre-registration is required by April 22nd. Everyone welcome. To register, send your name, an e-mail address, and cell number to prriopel@telusplanet. Free to all NCABL scorers. A course fee of $35 due and payable at the door for all other scorers. Payment in cash or check only at the door.

August 1Nomination deadline for the Ken Schultz Memorial Award.
August 1Balloting deadline for the Most Promising Junior Player Award.
August 1Balloting deadline for the Manager of the Year Award.
August 1Nomination deadline for a Fan of the Year recognition: optional and limited to one candidate per club per season. Free admission to all post-season play for recognized fans.
August 7Nomination deadline for the most valuable player of the year award.
August 12Deadline date for regular season play.
August 14Balloting deadline for the NCABL Most Valuable Player of the Year.
August 14-16Senior AA Western Canada Baseball Championship hosted by the Province of Saskatchewan and held in TBA.
August 22-23LCSFS for both best of three semi-final series. Hosted by the Legal Primeaus at Citadel Park in Legal, Alberta.
August 28League Championship Final Series (LCFS): Game #1 Hosted by the top regular season finisher among the semi-finalist qualifiers.
August 29League Championship Final Series (LCFS): Game #2 Hosted by the lower regular season finisher among the semi-finalist qualifiers.
August 30League Championship Final Series (LCFS): Game #3 (if necessary). Hosted by the top regular season finisher among the semi-finalist qualifiers.
August 31Rain-out date for the LCFS.
September 15Baseball Alberta Awards nomination deadline. Baseball Alberta Scholarship Application deadline.
November 7NCABL Fall Bi-Annual Policy Meeting: Site: Morinville Community Cultural Centre (9502, 100 ave., Morinville, Ab.) 9:00 – 16:00 Policy Manuals required.
